Radial Symmetry Relief Sculptures and so much more!

Fourth and Fifth Grade worked very hard on these relief sculptures. The paper towel rolls that you all sent in went to good use making this radially symmetrical work of art! We first glued our design down, followed by a coat of solid paint and finally the details that bring it to life. Simple dots, dashes and lines were added to enhance and emphasize the symmetrical design.

Some first graders worked on these snowy perspective landscapes. The trees on the one hill are closer to us and are larger, the ones on the other hill are further away and so they are smaller. The same with the footsteps that go from one hill to the other, they get smaller as they get away from the viewer.

Kindergarten made the cutest Alphabet soup complete with a table mat, napkin and spoon. We worked on pattern making for the placemat and we even added some shading to the sides of our bowl to make it look more realistic.

Many grades worked on these adorable Valentine Animals. They put their full effort into coloring these as neatly as they could, and they got creative with their animal choices. Seriously cute.

Many grades on Wednesday made Valentine cards for Senior Citizens in the town of Trumbull, depending on the grade the design changed.
