Pinecones, Glitter & Snowy Landscapes

Hello Jane Ryan! The pinecones below were a labor of love and this is just a small selection of beautiful art that was created by the 5th graders. They colored the pinecones with colored pencils with a focus on fading from dark to light and then created colorful backgrounds with chalk pastels.

Second and First grade created pine needle branches and this week they added snow and glitter to these beauties.

Kindergarten created these sunset skies with silhouette winter trees infront of them.

We have new Artists of the month for the month of September. These students put so much effort into their work, and I am so proud of them!

Art Club made snowflake watercolors, and used salt to create an interesting effect on the paint that looks super icy when dried.

Please consider purchasing something from my classroom wishlist to help me make the Art Room even better! Thank you!
