Gratitude Tree, Trucks & Tie-Dye Dots!

Our gratitude tree is up with all of the beautiful leaves the students made last week. It makes a big vibrant impact when you walk past it in the halls. We hope it inspires some extra gratitude these coming weeks.

Kindergarten made turkeys and fall farm trucks this week. The trucks are made of simple shapes and they were shocked to see how two rectangles, two squares, and two circles could make a truck. They got to decide what they filled the truck with and I loved seeing their color choices.

ART CLUB! It was stunning to see the variety these kiddos came out with when you give them all the same prompt. It was wonderful vibes listening to music and working on our squares for our last art club of this semester. I hope to see many of them return for the Spring session.

These tie-dye dots were a huge hit! They created circles using different colored markers, then (dip, dab, tap tap tap) with some water and the magic takes place as the colors blend together and spread out to create these beautiful circles. The kids were sharing circle recipes and oo-ing and ahh-ing after each circle blended. Such A GREAT WEEK!
